After launching bikini calendar the “Bikini Airline”, CEO Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, became Vietnam’s first female self-made billionaire.

“As a businesswoman, I have a responsibility to contribute to the economy and to push for positive changes of the country and in the society, in light of the international integration that’s happening,” Thao told Bloomberg.

In 2012, Vietjet Air has been fined $960 by the  Vietnam aviation authority for organising in-flight Bikini show.
